Portugal Acessível's (Accessible Portugal's) Guide provides detailed information regarding different spaces in the following areas:
- Acommodation (e.g.: hotels, apartments, pensions);
- Culture & Leisure (e.g.: monuments, museums, gardens);
- Beaches (seaside and riverside);
- Restaurants (e.g.: restaurants, bars, pastries);
- Health services (e.g.: hospitals, health-centers, pharmacies);
- Useful services (e.g.: supermarkets, post-offices, public services).
Geographic:
In 2008, the Guide started to cover the Lisbon area, collecting information about accessibility on 600 spaces, in 2009 it was expanded to the 18 Portuguese city districts and in 2010 to the 50 main tourist destinations in Portugal (based on the number of guests). At this moment, it has available information on more that 3.100 spaces.
In 2010, the website covers the following Portuguese cities:
